Cadets at the Planetarium!

On December 21, the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ met cadets - participants of the Spartakiad of Cadets and the XI All-Russian Online Championship “Study the Internet & Govern It!”. We spent one of the Wednesdays of December with the guys - and now we are telling (and showing!) how it was.

The Coordination Center decided to thank the students of the 8th “K” class of the Moscow State Budgetary Educational Institution “School No. 1205” and the class teacher Stanislav Sergeevich Silaev for their active participation in the Spartakiad of Cadets and the “Study the Internet & Govern It!” and arrange a New Year's excursion for them to the Moscow Planetarium.

We would like to note their great success in mastering knowledge from the field of Internet technologies and digital literacy. Of course, it was impossible to ignore the participation of their class teacher, under whose strict supervision they proved themselves in our educational competitions.

The Planetarium team held an exciting sightseeing tour of the Urania Museum for young champions, after which they watched the films “The Birth of the Planet Earth” and “Guiding Stars” in the Big Star Hall.

Director of the Coordination Center Andrey Vorobyev presented the class teacher with a thank-you letter, and the students received gifts, among which was a book about Internet Governance. He noted that Internet law is in many ways similar to space law in that there are no physical boundaries, and many interesting parallels can be drawn between them.

At the end of this good news, we wish the guys not to lose optimism and sincere curiosity and keep their thirst for knowledge! And we share a few photos of this winter “spacewalk”.

Spartakiad for cadets is a closed all-Russian online tournament “Study the Internet & Govern It!”for students of cadet classes (7-11 parallels), organized by the Moscow Center “Patriot. Sport”. More than 2,000 cadet students took part in it.
