A domain, free from a freedom of speech

American Bible Society (ABS) which previously obtained the right to administer the new .BIBLE, published its regulations. The document caused very rough reaction both for experts and ordinary users. .BIBLE isn't closed, therefore anyone – in theory – can register a name in it. However in practice it can be very difficult. Registry reserves the right to block and remove any "ungodly" content, "disparage or blaspheme God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, Christianity (to include any sects or denominations), the Bible, or any other such tenet, symbol, representative or principles of the Christian faith", Domain Incite quotes the rules. Thus, the right to define “ungodliness” of particular content belongs only to ABS.

Thus, .BIBLE may "be free", for example, from the mention of Darwin’s theory and any other natural-science ideas which don’t coinciding with the bible concept of world and man creation. With all due respect to Christians’ religious feelings, experts point out that this approach contradicts the principles of freedom of speech which are fundamental to the global network.
